Watana Jakima are traditional Andean beaded bindings from the Q’ero tradition of Peru.
They are made with small beads known as pini and measure approximately 95 cm in length.
These bindings are worn as personal adornments and are also connected to work with the mesa, the traditional Andean bundle. Simple in form, they carry a clear cultural origin and meaning.
