Metsana is a traditional Andean woven textile used to wrap khuyos (stones and meaningful objects). These khuyos together form a mesa, which is used in the work of paqos in the Andean tradition.
This metsana is handwoven from llama wool, originates from the Cusco region, Peru, and was purchased directly from a family of weavers.
